Julian Castro is a Fort Lauderdale born and raised abstract painter know for his deep, meditative, emotive canvases that explore the psychology of color.

Once upon a time he was an engineer in the oil and gas industry, yet always felt that there was a deeper calling for him in life. So on a whim and a touch of faith, he embarked on a lifelong journey of living life on his own terms, aligned with his purpose and heart’s calling.

He has been an artist and entrepreneur since 2017, creating art that invokes states of wonder and inspires viewers to live a life of truth and purpose.

Says Castro, "To me, being an artist is a product of a life long journey of finding who I truly am. It’s impossible to truly capture what it means to be yourself… to be a human with emotions and feelings and intuition and experiences… but with every piece of art I create guided by my own intuition and feelings, I merely attempt to capture some facet of the human condition. Each canvas is an invitation for the viewer to slow down, feel deeply, and hopefully witness something new about themselves… as if looking into a mirror of their soul."
